Vicky Brieffies

Have you spotted this friendly face in our clinics? We wouldn’t be surprised! Vicky has been a great help in both our Mackay and Townsville clinics since joining the SpeechEase team. She’s well on her way to becoming a fully-fledged Speech Pathologist too. 

Vicky knew right from the beginning that she wanted a career where she could work with children. While teaching was her original plan, her attention quickly turned to Speech Pathology when a young family member started going to speech therapy sessions. Vicky loved the idea of improving a child or adults ability to communicate, with communication having a direct impact on so many areas of life. 

Vicky’s favourite part of her job as an AHA is seeing children come into the clinic excited for their appointments and the joy on their faces when they leave after all they’ve achieved in a session.  

When she’s not working, Vicky is happiest spending time with her (many) family members or having a quiet one reading a good book.  

One of the biggest things on her bucket list is to travel to Malta – where her grandparents are from.
