Fees and Funding

Fees

At SpeechEase Speech Therapy, we strive to keep our fees as affordable as possible while maintaining the high quality standards that we expect of our service. Here is a copy of our current Fee Schedule. Please note, these prices may change without notice and are current as of 1st August 2022.

Funding

SpeechEase Speech Therapy is a registered provider of:

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS);
  • Medicare;
  • Department of Veterans Affairs; and
  • Most private health funds.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

We are registered providers of the NDIS for early childhood early intervention (ECEI), therapeutic supports and some assistive technology. We work with all participants of the NDIS regardless of their age or how their plan is managed – NDIS managed, plan managed by a third party or self managed. We need you to bring along your NDIS reference number, plan dates and the plan goals to your initial session to ensure we provide supports that meet the NDIS’ requirements.

Find out more about the NDIS and speech therapy in the video below.

Medicare

You may be eligible to access a rebate of $55.10 for your speech therapy session at SpeechEase using a Chronic Disease Management plan through a referral from your General Practitioner (GP). Please note that we don’t offer appointments that are fully covered by a Medicare rebate, so there will be some out of pocket expense associated with your session. If you have any questions please give our friendly team a call!

Private Health

SpeechEase offers the convenience to claim eligible private health rebates onsite from a large range of private health funds. Please contact your private health insurance company to find out the amount or percentage of the fee they will cover as this differs with each health fund and policy level.
