Free Spring School Holiday Activities

Spring is rolling in (gosh, where did this year go?) and that means the school holidays are fast approaching. Here are SpeechEase Speech Therapy, we always want to encourage you to sneak a little home practice in during the school holidays – especially if you plan on having a short break from your speech therapy sessions. That’s why we’ve put together this selection of free Spring-themed school holiday activities for you! 

Have a look through these fun printable worksheets and choose the activities that’ll suit your child best. We’ve also included some blank worksheets that you can fill out to work on goals you’ve discussed with your treating Speech Pathologist, so make sure to grab a few of those to help fit in consistent home practice this school holidays.

Are you working on speech sounds / articulation in speech therapy? Have a go with our Spring Speech Sounds this school holidays! 

 

Spring Word Scramble 

Are you working on literacy and spelling in speech therapy or school? Why not bring a bit of learning and fun to the school holidays with this Spring-themed word scramble activity. Print it out, unscramble the word (with the help of the picture hint!) and colour in the picture.  

 

Springtime Word Search 

Have some kiddos who are a little older but still want to give them something fun and Springtime themed to do? Our Springtime word search is perfect for them. Print it out and take it along to a café to keep the kids entertained while you wait for your food to arrive.  

 

Free Blank Speech Therapy Home Practice Worksheets 

You’ve been working so hard in Speech Therapy, why not keep that momentum going over the school holidays? Before you set out on your holiday fun, sit down with your Speech Pathologist to go over some goals / activities to work on over the holiday break. Small things you can incorporate into your day all add up in the end! Here’s a helpful template to get you started.
