Sydney Neumann

Sydney grew up near Chicago and did her undergraduate degree in America before moving to Australia to join her partner and complete her masters in speech pathology at the University of Queensland. 

It was Sydney’s mum who first set her on the path to becoming a speech pathologist. Her mum is a special education teacher and, when Sydney was unsure which path to take, her mum suggested speech pathology. It proved to be great advice. 

Sydney’s a caring, friendly speechie who loves helping clients to find their voice and be able to express their likes and dislikes. She mostly works with kids and adolescents, using a range of techniques to help people improve their communication. 

Sydney will often start the day with some yoga before coming to work and enjoys cooking dinner with her partner in the evenings. When she’s not working, she loves to go camping or hiking or spend time at the beach. Sydney would love to travel more and wants to explore Europe and south-east Asia as well as making a few trips back home, though she plans to settle here in Australia.
